April VanMalden moved back to New Hampshire after living in North Carolina for 2 years and then California for 5 years. She’s very happy to be back! April previously worked at horse barns and animal hospitals in Rochester, New Hampshire, and San Diego, California. She enjoys getting to know clients and helping them through potentially stressful times and making it a little easier for them. “I’ve enjoyed the high level of care given at Stoney Brook.”

April loves hiking and camping with her husband and her dogs Dixie (Lab/Border Collie) and Lilly (Australian Cattle Dog mix), kayaking and paddle boarding, and exploring new places – especially national parks, and she has a cat named Willow.
