Meeting new patients and helping to solve problems is what Dr. Eve O'Neil enjoys most about her position with us here at Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital. Dr. O'Neil is working part-time as an Associate Veterinarian, and has been in practice since 2012. Prior to joining our team, Dr. O'Neil worked for 1 year in small animal practice in Pennsylvania, and 4 years as a general and emergency medicine practitioner in Florida.
Dr. O'Neil graduated from Boston College with a major in Biology and German. She then moved on to attain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. Dr. O'Neil was awarded with the Anatomic Pathology Award in 2011, and the Clinical Pathology Award in 2012. She also possesses a Category II USDA Accreditation, is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through the Chi Institute, and is involved in continuing education programs for bee medicine.
Dr. O'Neil enjoys working at Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital because of the dedicated and experienced veterinary nurses on staff. She has a high regard for all her colleagues and is impressed with their commitment to high standards of veterinary medical care.
At home, Dr. O'Neil likes to cook and spend time with her family. She owns a large mixed-breed dog named Kaylar, a black and white cat named Chicken, and an all-white cat named Shere Khan.
