Pet Adoptions in Upper Valley

Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital does not offer pet adoptions.

However, we do encourage potential pet owners in the Upper Valley to consider adopting a pet from a local humane society or shelter when looking to welcome a new animal companion into their home. These groups shelter and foster many loving pets who are looking for a forever home. Before adopting a new pet, the staff at Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital can provide you with advice and pre-adoption counseling to help ensure you find the right pet for your home.

We work closely with the following local humane societies and pet rescue organizations.

Upper Valley Humane Society - The UVHS promotes the human/animal bond and helps pets in the Upper Valley area of New Hampshire and Vermont.

Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society - Dedicated to providing shelter and humane care for unwanted dogs and cats in West Windsor, Vermont and the surrounding area.

Concord-Merrimack County SPCA - Animal outreach and education for pets and people in Concord and Merrimack County.

Lakes Region Humane Society - Caring for abused and abandoned animals until they can be adopted and to promote the health and welfare of domestic animals through community outreach and education.
