Dr. Claire Brunner
Originally raised in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Claire Brunner has always had a deep love for science, nature, and the outdoors. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Bowdoin College where she got involved in wildlife rehabilitation and shelter medicine. Prior to veterinary school, she worked for several years as the operations director of an animal shelter and a technician at a local veterinary hospital. She attended the Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine as well as a post-graduate certificate in International Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Brunner's special medical interests include surgery, community medicine, and internal medicine. She strongly believes in a fear-free approach to veterinary medicine and has maintained her Fear Free Certification since 2019. Having recently relocated to the Upper Valley, Dr. Brunner is thrilled to begin establishing roots in the community and forming strong bonds with her clients and patients. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Brunner enjoys cooking, trail running, hiking, and basically any activity outside. She shares her life with her partner, two cats, and a crazy husky.
