Heidi Preston was born in New York, moved to South Carolina as a toddler, and relocated to the Upper Valley when she was 8 years old. Her first job ever was at a dog kennel and she has worked with animals ever since: as a dog- and cat-sitter, as a Veterinary Assistant and then Veterinary Technician, and she’s been grooming cats and dogs since 2007. She joined our team in April, 2020, saying that she likes the atmosphere here, her teammates, and making animals feel better.

Heidi has certifications in Veterinary CPR and Advanced Veterinary CPR, as well as Fear-Free Certification.

Heidi has 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 11 fish. She enjoys being outside, hiking, and spending time with all her pets. With her fiancé, Gary, she has 2 older step-daughters, Kalleigh and Anah, and a 6 year old daughter, Addison, who always keeps them on their toes.
