Veterinary Assistant & CSR
Trsitin
Tristin was born and raised in the Upper Valley and attended Kimball Union Academy, where she spent a transformative semester abroad in the Bahamas studying marine science and shark research. This experience inspired her to pursue a dual degree in biology and psychology at Eckerd College in Florida, focusing on animal behavior and marine science.
After college, she moved to Australia to grow her marine science passion and scuba diving experience and worked toward becoming a dive master. The pandemic brought her back to the Upper Valley, where she pivoted into the corporate world for a few years. During this time, she always knew her real passion was with animals, and she soon made the transition to return to her truest passion: working with animals.
Now, as a veterinary assistant at Stony Brook Veterinary Hospital, Tristin loves being part of a team that helps animals every day. Animals big and small have truly been her entire world for as long as she can remember, and she loves being able to dedicate herself to caring for them every day. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, motorcycling, scuba diving when she can, and spending time outdoors on hikes or walks.
